Content Creation & Social Publishing

  • Produce and post content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Identify key moments from live programming as they happen and quickly turn them into engaging, social-native clips.
  • Write compelling captions, headlines, and descriptions that drive engagement.
  • Help schedule, optimize, and publish content using platform-native tools and scheduling software.

Video Editing & Asset Creation

  • Edit short-form videos using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or in-platform editing tools.
  • Add captions, subtitles, and simple graphics to enhance content.
  • Help experiment with different formats, from YouTube Shorts to Instagram Reels to TikTok trends.

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms—respond to comments, join conversations, and foster community interaction.
  • Track social trends and suggest ideas for content that align with platform best practices.
  • Work with the team to adapt and refine content strategies based on audience insights.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Assist in tracking performance metrics and compiling reports on content success.
  • Support A/B testing of headlines, thumbnails, and posting strategies to improve engagement.
  • Help identify trends in audience behavior and provide input on content optimization.

What You Bring

  • One to three years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital production—internships and freelance work count.
  • Basic-to-intermediate video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, or similar).
  • A keen understanding of social media platforms and what makes content perform well on each.
  • Strong writing skills—concise, engaging captions and headlines come naturally to you.
  • Interest in news, culture, and digital storytelling.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborative and eager to learn—you take feedback well and are always looking to improve.
  • Willingness and ability to work based on our live programming schedule, which includes some evenings and weekends. 

Bonus Points For

  • Previous experience in a media, journalism, or storytelling environment.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and performance tracking.
  • Experience using motion graphics or animation tools.
